Terrible experience. They served us nearly frozen butter and expected us to spread it on our bagel. Half of their items on the menu weren’t available at 9:15 in the morning. Only 6 types of bagels. There’s zero chance of us coming back. The rugelach tasted stale as if it was baked the day before. They did refund us for the bagel. There are a lot of vegan options and perhaps your experience will be better.

Stopped by to try. Got a few bagels, a Southwestern Egg Sandwich, a vegan cookie bar, and some cream cheese. Didn't realize they did not offer meat when I walked in. Not a big deal, though I admit I was craving a sausage, egg, and cheese bagel when I arrived. The bagels weren't bad (ordered the salted one, plain, and an everything bagel), and the cream cheese wasn't shabby either, though I personally think there are higher quality bagel joints elsewhere (Bethesda Bagels immediately comes to mind). Just sharing my honest, personal thoughts. The Egg Sandwich was OK, but it was a little dry and the egg whites a tad overcooked. Again, this is just my opinion off of one visit. The place itself is small, but has a couple small tables, with additional spots to eat outside. The staff was friendly enough during my visit: not particularly outgoing, but opened up when I asked questions about particular items available. Overall, I thought this place to be just OK. Be aware that they don't offer meat products, and their bagel selection is definitely much more limited than other bagel spots in the DMV. 3/5 stars all-around.

Yeah.. not a Jewish deli. Just a cluttered gay bakery with a couple of bagel options. Not one Jewish person in sight. Ghetto music. Not inviting atmosphere to eat inside. Bagels were tough and tiny.

I don't remember how I came across this nut-free bakery, but I am so glad that I did. My kid has severe food allergies and has never been able to have any treats other than what I make at home. I ordered a selection of goodies before Thanksgiving and had the order shipped. Everything was delicious and my son was thrilled. Thank you, Baked by Yael!

Overall a solid bagel — I got the Southwest Style which is egg and veggies baked in. A little dry as there was no sauce or avocado that came with it. They did mess up my order and the cashier didn’t seem to believe me so only after continually asking did he go to the back and confirm that indeed they made the wrong sandwich. They threw out the “bad one” (seemed wasteful — they should have just let me keep that one) and made me a new one. The manager (I think) came out to give it to me and apologized and offered me another item and I got the raspberry crumble tart, which was delicious. Overall, favorable experience and for the area, would go back but definitely not the best bagel in the city. (Would recommend Pearls in Mt Vernon Square).

We were just there when we went to the zoo the other day. The kids loved their cake pops, and meanwhile I discovered something called a "duffin": a cross between a donut and a muffin, which was as delicious as it sounds. We love this place and were glad we had a chance to come in.

Great place to stop by after the zoo to grab a quick bite. The bagel sandwiches are around $6 and baked goods are around $4 each. Overall a decent place with vegan and gluten-free options. Nut-free and kosher if that’s also a concern for you. They had cute zoo-themed cake pops here and if you want a cute panda pop then this is the place for you. I tried their southwestern sandwich on an everything bagel and it was tasty and big enough that you’re full but not overly stuffed. I also tried their cookie bar and it was okay, though I wish I would’ve gone with their raspberry bar instead (maybe next time).

Stopped here after a visit to the National Zoo and decided that we should have gone before the zoo. Our cake pops were delicious but sadly we missed the Halloween themed ones. That's our fault since we got there around 4. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back.
